GC University Lahore announces admissions for FA/FSc Academic Session 2009-2011. The admission will be granted on Open Merit, Disability, Fine Arts, Hifz-e-Quran, Kinship, Sports, Co-curricular Activities, Overseas Pakistanis and Minorities.

The Prospectus, Admission Forms with programme details and guidelines for admission will be available from 01-08-2009 to 08-08-2009 @ Rs. 200/- each from the following branches of the United Bank Limited (during banking hours only):

i)              UBL, Tufail Road Lahore, Cantt.

ii)             UBL, Riwaz Garden, Lahore.

iii)            UBL, Wahdat Road, Lahore.

iv)            UBL, The Mall, Lahore. (Opposite Y.M.C.A)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• The candidates shall submit dully filled in Admission Forms in the same branch of UBL from where the Forms have been obtained.

• The candidates shall have to submit separate Admission Forms if they are applying for more than one group/ category.

• Candidates can also download Admission Forms, click here to download form. Dully filled in Admission Forms along with bank draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Treasurer, GC University Lahore should reach the Registrar, GC University Lahore through courier service by the due date.

• Last date for submission of admission form is August 08, 2009 during office hours by 03:00 p.m.

 ELIGIBILITY

• Only those candidates who have passed Matriculation/ Equivalent Examination in 1^st Annual 2009 or 2^nd Annual 2008 are eligible to apply for admission.

• Maximum age limit is 18 years.

NOTE

• Admissions for O’Level/ Equivalent candidates on reserved seats will be advertised separately after the declaration of O’Level results. However, O’Level/ Equivalent candidates who want to apply on Sports & Co-curricular basis shall have to participate in the trials/ tests to be held from 11-08-09 to 15-08-09 & 11-08-09 to 18-08-09 respectively along with Matriculate candidates seeking admission to FA/FSc. Their admission will be confirmed after submission of the Equivalence Certificate issued by the IBCC, Islamabad.

• O’Level/ Equivalent candidates applying on reserved seats, must obtain Equivalence Certificate immediately which to be submitted with the Admission Form. Merit will be determined on the basis of the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad.
