ALERT
As per policy
of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for admission to MS/M.Phil
Programs, only those candidates who meet the following minimum
criteria are eligible to apply for admission to MS/M.Phil
Programs in GC University Lahore:
Who have
completed sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after
HSSC/F.A/F.Sc/Grade 12 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in
Annual System or 2.5/4.0 CGPA in Semester system in the fields
of Science & Technology, Arts and Social Sciences and 50% marks
in Annual System or 2.0/4.0 CGPA in Semester system in the
fields of Languages, Islamic and oriental learning.
Who have
passed GAT-General test conducted by the National Testing
Service (NTS)
The GC
University Lahore offers MS/M.Phil Programs in the following
disciplines:
Banking &
Financial Economics, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Clinical
Psychology, Computer Science, Economics, English, Electrical
Engineering, Environmental Science, Entrepreneurship & SME
Management, Forensic Chemistry, History, Islamic Studies,
Mathematics, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Persian,
Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Statistics,
Urdu and Zoology,
The admission
dates will be announced later.
Candidates
are advised to appear in the GAT-General Test to be held on 4th
July and 12th September 2010 as per schedule of NTS.
