I am involved in Monitoring the
deterioration and developing a rationale for conserving the
ecological equilibrium in the fragile arid and alpine regions and
also on impact of unplanned urbanization on natural environment of
Pakistan. I have peer reviewed the 'global biodiversity assessment'
commissioned by (United Nations Environment Programme) UNEP and
'International agenda for botanic garden in conservation' by
(Botanic Gardens Conservation International) BGCI, UK.

Work Experience:
I have been teaching the subject
of environmental science and ecology in the Botany Department of the
Government College (now GC University) since 1976. I have published
my works on topics related to plant strategies, monitoring air and
water pollution, impact assessment studies, landscape planning,
biological conservation and restoration.
