Biography:
Recipient of Co-curricular Roll of Honour for being the Editor of
the University Magazine "The Ravi" in year 2000; Uzair Ahson loves
the tradition of GC University of excellent teaching and research
environment. He has studied in GC University for six years and feels
honoured to teach in his Alma Mater for its 140 Years of long
history of excellence in the education of sciences and liberal arts.
The curricular and co-curricular environment of GCU provides the
opportunities for self realization, experimentation and learning.
Uzair has the honour to represent Pakistan in the 1st
Lindau Meeting of Nobel Prize Winners in Economics in Germany in
September 2004 where he had a chance to interact with 11 Nobel Prize
Winners in Economic Sciences and about 350 students and researchers
also participated in the event. He was accompanied by Mr. Ali Farid
Khawaja of LUMS, Pakistan. He is also the core member of GCU team
which is conducting a research for the World Bank to analyze the
Potential economic effects of Pak-India trade. Uzair intends to
peruse teaching and research as his career.
