Introduction
People admire the smooth blending of academic
and co-curricular activities in GCU. This is an old
tradition which has been kept alive and will be maintained
in future too by providing every possible incentive to the
students. Dunnicliff Chemical Society is one of the
societies in GCU, named after Sir H.B. Dunnicliff who was a
former principal of GC. It organizes quiz shows, research
and technical presentations and training workshops within
the Department of Chemistry. Last year, the Girls’ Cricket
team of the Department won the second prize at the
inter-departmental games.
