The Department of
Economics, GCU Lahore is starting new program MS in Banking
and Financial Economics. The purpose of the program is to
provide the banking and financial sector with relevant human
resource equipped with academic and applied knowledge and
experience. The program will enable the participants to
develop a good understanding of money, banking and financial
economics and understand the role these factors in economic
development. Moreover, they will be better able to analyze the
behavior and structure of domestic and international financial
markets and institutions in the light of current crises and
challenges and thus contribute in the development of banking
sector, financial institutions and capital markets.
The duration of the program will two
years with the total of 36 credit hours and it will be completed in four
semesters. In year I, two semesters each of 12 credit hours will be completed.
In year II, the students will write research dissertation of 12 credit hours.

The Department of
Economics, GCU Lahore is starting new program MS in
Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises Management
(S&SMEM). The program is aimed at entrepreneurial development
and management in order to enable the would be entrepreneurs
to start successful business ventures. The program will focus
on cutting edge issues of business environment and development
plan highlighting the key elements of marketing,
organizational behaviour and financial planning and
development.
The duration of the program will two
years with a total of 36 credit hours and it will be completed in four
semesters. In year I, two semesters each of 12 credit hours will be completed.
In year II, the students will write research dissertation of 12 credit hours.
