University of the Punjab (through GC), 1956; joined Government Service, November 12, 1957 worked as a lecturer in Physics in GC 1962 – 64; left for England for higher education, 1964; did his Ph. D in Physics from the University of London, 1968; rejoined government service, December 15, 1968: worked as lecturer in Physics at Government College of Science (GCS), Wahdat road, Lahore, December 15, 1968 to 1970; professor and head of the Department of Physics at GCS, November 26, 1970 to October 15, 1974; Principal, GCS, October 16, 1974 to June 18, 1979 ; Director Education, Lahore Division, Lahore, June 19, 1979 to April 3, 1981; promoted to NPS No. 20, April 3, 1981; Principal, GC, April 4, 1981 -- ; promoted to NPS 21, September 28, 1987; visited many foreign countries; Administrator, educationist, member of many administrative and academic bodies, author of a number of books wrote research articles on several topics of Physics, which he read in international seminars and conferences.. . .
