As per provisions of the Tenure Track Statutes introduced by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and adopted by the GC University Lahore, applications are invited from the competent persons fulfilling the required qualifications, Publications etc. for the posts of Professors and Assistant Professor in the following disciplines with the pay scale as detailed below.

QUALIFICATIONS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT AS PROFESSOR UNDER TENURE TRACK SYSTEM

The candidate should be a Ph.D. from a recognized and reputable institution in the relevant field with 11-years post Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization and 15 research publications in internationally abstracted journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

QUALIFICATIONS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT AS ASSISTANT PROFESSOR UNDER TENURE TRACK SYSTEM (Age limit 30-45)

Must be a Ph.D from a recognized Institute with excellent communication and presentation skills

GENERAL CONDITIONS: 

i.  Each candidate who wishes to be considered for the Tenure Track Scheme should prepare a comprehensive application dossier that includes detailed CV letters of reference from his/her Ph.D. supervisor as well as from other eminent researchers in his/her area of specialization and all publications in internationally abstracted journals.

ii.  Application form can be obtained from the Registrar Office, Government College University, Lahore after depositing an amount of Rs.500/- (non refundable) in the name of Treasurer, GC University, Lahore.  

iii. The application on the prescribed form with full particulars, required documents (Dossier etc) and four copies of the required research papers (in the hard and soft forms) indicating the title of the article, name of journal in which published along-with the year of its publication and attested copies of Degrees/Certificates etc should reach the Registrar, GC University, Lahore

iv.   Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

v.  The University reserves the right not to consider any application without giving any reason.
