ELIGIBILITY

All the students of GCU who have passed their SSC (Matric) and Intermediate (F.A/F.Sc) examination (1^st Annual/Spring) 2009 appearing from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Educations, Pujab and have joined next classes in this University in the same year.

SCHEDULE

Scholarship Application Forms can be obtained from the Student Financial Aid Office from 01-15^th January, 2010 (during office hours).
Last date for submission of duly filled in application form with necessary documents (complete in all respects) is 20^th January, 2010.

NOTE

No application form will be entertained after due date (incomplete form will be rejected)

INTEREST FREE STUDENT LOAN SCHEME FACILITY FOR THE STUDENTS OF PUBLIC SECTOR UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTIONS

The National Bank of Pakistan has launched a Qarz-e-Hasna Scheme under the name �Student Loan Scheme� in collaboration with the major commercial banks of Pakistan to extend financial help by way of mark-up free loans to the meritorious students.

ELIGIBILTY

He/She obtained admission on merit.
He/She falls at the time of admission within the age bracket of :-

For graduation Not exceeding 21 Years

For post graduation Not exceeding 31 Years

For PhDs Not exceeding 36 Years

He/She is unable to pursue studies due to financial constraints.

TYPES OF LOAN

The Loan facility will be available for entire duration of the study for:-

� Schedule Fee: Paid directly to the University

� Boarding expenses excluding meal charges: do

� Procurement of textbooks: Disbursed directly to the students

SCHEDULE

Application Forms can be obtained from the Main Branch of National Bank of Pakistan Lahore/Student Financial Aid Office, GCU Lahore till 20^th February 2010 free of cost or can be downloaded from the Website www.nbp.com.pk/studentloan.
Last date for submission of duly filled in duplicate application form with necessary documents (complete in all respects) to the Main Branch of NBP is 27^th February, 2010.

NOTE

The maximum period of payment is 10-Years from the date of disbursement of first installment.
Those who have already applied need not apply again.

Scholarship for the Children of Teachers and Special Students of F.A/F.Sc/General Science (1^st Year only)

Applications are invited from the children of teachers and special students of F.A/F.Sc/General Science (1st Year only) who have passed their Matric Examination 2009 from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore.

ELIGIBILITY

Students of F.A/F.Sc/Genral Science of GCU whose parents (Mother/Father) are Teachers or Special Students, who have passed their Matric Annual examination 2009 appearing from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore and joined 1^st Year (F.A/F.Sc/General Science) in GCU in the same year 2009.
