A special edition of the Scientific Ravi containing 112 research and popular articles published on 14th of April 2014. The instant edition has been published in connection with ongoing celebrations of 150th Anniversary of Government College University Lahore. Current edition of the Scientific Ravi comprises articles contributed by Ravian graduates and undergraduates, Old Ravians and and faculty from other universities. It also features fascinating pieces contributed by 12 foreign luminaries in the world of science (for the first time in its 24-year history of Scientific Ravi), including renowned names such as Edward Witten, Michael Atiyah and Freeman Dyson.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman Vice Chancellor GCU said that the primary objective of The Scientific Ravi is to unearth the research talent among Ravians as well as to inspire them to pursue careers in pure and applied sciences. He lauded efforts of the editorial staff and its chief editor for having the courage to embark on a colossal intellectual endeavor and doing their utmost for the current issue. He also acknowledged the articles penned by foreign professors and the great encouragement they provided to the editorial team of The Scientific Ravi.
