GCU donated Computers for Physically-Challenged students

A non-government organization, Vision Without Barriers, has donated computers and other equipment to the GC University Lahore Center for Special Students (GCU-CSS) for the physically-challenged students.
Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar chaired the ceremony to hand over the “the technology package” to the GCU-CSS, while Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Asghar Zaidi was also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar laid stress on providing maximum facilities to the physically-challenged students in educational institutions. He believed these special students should be given jobs on a priority basis.
He appreciated the work of Vision Without Barriers President Moaz Khan and Vice President Lt. Col (r) Hamed Khan and donor Taveer Ahmed, saying that they met him in London and expressed their wish to work for empowering the physically-challenged students in Pakistanis.
He said overseas Pakistanis and NGOs are providing more than 10,000 solar water pumps for areas where there is a water and electricity crisis.
The governor appreciated the hard work of GCU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Zaidi, saying he has brought so much invocation to this oldest seat of higher learning in the country.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Zaidi said that students with special needs require additional assistance in the form of equipment and training, so GCU wants to upgrade its Center for Special Students to make it the best in Pakistan. He also thanked Vision Without Barriers team for providing much-needed equipment to GCU-CSS.
Later, Moaz Khan and Lt. Col (r) Hamed Khan shed light on working and projects of Vision Without Barriers.
