A student of Government College University (GCU) Lahore has secured first position in a national songs competition held under the program "Meri Pehchaan Pakistan" organized by Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Lahore, in connection with Independence Day celebrations.

The Nazir Ahmad Music Society (NAMS) of GCU participated in the event, where the society's Vice President, Ghulam Qambar, earned first place with his impressive vocal performance.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry, Advisor NAMS Prof. Khalid Mahmood Sanjrani, and Program Officer Ms. Saira Tahir appreciated the students' performance and expressed their happiness over the achievement.
