A delegation from Türkiye visited Government College University (GCU) Lahore, where Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry received the members and briefed them on the institution.

The delegation was headed by Ramazan Şenol Ceyret, Director Youth Center, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Türkiye. University officials including Registrar Dr. Shoukat Ali, Director Intermediate Sadiq Awan, Controller of Examinations Shehzad Ahmed, Chief Librarian Muhammad Naeem, and In-charge International Relations Dr. Ahmad Raza Khan were also present.

The delegation included 12 Turkish students, representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and officials of the Turkish Maarif Foundation. The visitors toured the campus, Allama Iqbal’s room, and the Center for Turkish Studies.

Speaking during the visit, Ramazan Şenol Ceyret said the delegation came to learn about Pakistan’s culture, education system, and history. He said the visit aimed to enhance understanding and cooperation between institutions of the two countries.
