- The Department promots research environment, consequently research papers on all disciplines of Islamic Studies
are being published in national and international journals regularly.
- The four active societies of the Department "Majlis-e-Uloom-e-Islamiyah" , "Arabic Society" Character Building
Society and al-Falah Society are providing creative and literary pursuits to the students.
- The seminars and conferences are organized regularly in which national and international scholars deliver
lectures.
- The department also offers a Certificate course in Arabic Language.
- The Department has pride in introducing the subject of Ethics for Non-Muslims students.
- The Department has acquired the services of a Distinguished Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Career Scope/Opportunities
Students of BA (Hons) and MPhil in Islamic Studies get vast career scope by rendering their services to Teaching,
Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Council of Islamic Ideology, Zakat and Usher, Electronic and Print Media, various
departments of public and private sectors.

The various disciplines of Islamic Studies have been divided into five main research groups. The research scholars
may join any one according to their interest. These groups are:
