Recording and reporting fever and any symptoms is a part of daily diary system. In case of any emergency, mothers will be contacted and immediate medical help will be sought at GCU clinic. All medical help will be symptomatic and administered with mothers’ consent and in their presence at the clinic. No medicine or vaccine would be administered by staff decision and without mothers’ consent. However, the staff may ask the mother to provide medical documents as vaccination schedule, any ongoing medication and details of any diagnosis.
Polio drops are regularly administered at the center with mothers’ consent and presence. A list of children enrolled at the center is also provided to concerned Polio control center. Dengue spray and fumigation for bacterial and viral infections is also done whenever needed.
